I have learned that being prepared can be a 'hunger' saver when traveling.  In the photo above, I have taken a picture of some of the snacks I packed for our plane rides today.  We will be flying for about 10 hours, and most airlines are not known for their gluten friendly foods.  

What do you see???  Some moon cheese, grass-fed beef sticks, dates and dried apricots.  I also brought along a couple of protein bars (mine are from Garden of Life - they are soy free).  These snacks will help me to last on the long flights without making poor choices.

Now it's just wheels up and then the adventure begins.......
